Sharole creates artwork and commissioned portraiture primarily in the Realism style while her other selected works have hints of the Impressionistic. Characteristics include visible brush strokes, open composition, emphasis on light in its changing qualities, the inclusion of movement, and unusual visual angles.
Sharole’s art reflects nature’s beauty. She composes from memory and photographs of her travels throughout North America.
Sharole received formal training in Fine Art
studies at the University College of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford, BC, Canada. Later, she developed and taught courses in all mediums at that institution and also at the Mission Arts Council, Mission, BC, CA. She has studied under several accomplished artists, learning technique and developing her own style. She has commissioned numerous works, supported charitable causes, and participated in exhibitions, fairs and festivals. Her artwork is held in private, international collections.
