La fotógrafa sueca Appura Pai, en sus viajes a Japón, decidió utilizar la nueva ruta del metro llamada Yurikamome, para capturar el viaje por medio de su cámara, el resultado es un fusión surrealista, entre el paisaje, las luces, la velocidad y los rieles, en un tiempo que comprende el día y la noche.

The Swedish photographer Appura Pai, in her travels to Japan, decided to use the new subway route called Yurikamome, to capture the trip through his camera, the result is a surreal fusion between the landscape, lights, speed and rails, in a time that includes the day and night.

El fotógrafo y retocador de imágenes sueco, Erik Johansson, desafía la visión humana con sus trabajos, donde el mundo cotidiano es llevado al extremo, cruzando a una alternativa más surreal.

Swedish photographer and retoucher images, Erik Johansson defies human vision with their jobs, where the everyday world is taken to the extreme, an alternativecrossing more unreal.

Ric Nagualero has been immersed in art for most of his life. A native from Portugal, at the age of two he moved to South America (Brazil) with his parents. There he resided for the next 15 years, absorbing the exotic surroundings of the land and its people, a multiracial culture with its rich traditions and customs.

Returning to Europe in 1989, he attended High School in Cascais (Portugal) in the arts area. Pursuing further education, he moved to Swansea, Wales (UK) in 1992, where part of his family is from. There he attended College at Swansea’s Institute of Higher Education (University of Wales) specializing in Illustration and Fine Arts.

In 1998, he starts a painting apprenticeship with german-english painter Thomas Bund at his Sintra Studio. A friendship and working relation that last to date.

Through out the years, Nagualero has steadily produced art, having exhibited his work and being collected accross the world.

His works are represented at well-known galleries and spaces.

Ric Nagualero ha estado inmerso en el mundo del arte de la mayor parte de su vida.  Nativo de Portugal, a la edad de dos años se trasladó a América del Sur (Brasil) con sus padres. Allí residió durante los siguientes 15 años, absorbiendo el ambiente exótico de la tierra y de su gente, una cultura multirracial con ricas tradiciones y costumbres.

Ya de vuelta a Europa en 1989, asistió a la Escuela Secundaria de Cascais (Portugal) especializándose en la rama de artes. Para continuar con la enseñanza superior, se mudó a Swansea, Gales (Reino Unido) en 1992, de donde es parte de su familia. Allí asistió a la Universidad de Swansea en el Instituto de Educación Superior (Universidad de Gales), para especializarse en Ilustración y Bellas Artes.

En 1998, comienza a asistir a clases de pintura con el pintor anglo-alemán Thomas Bund en su Estudio de Sintra. Desde entonces comenzó una relación de amistad y de trabajo que perdura hasta la actualidad.

En losúltimos años, Nagualero no ha dejado de pintar, además de haber expuesto sus obras por todo el mundo en conocidas galerías y espacios de arte.

Híbridos es el título de esta breve serie firmada por Juan Carlos Sánchez (Puertollano) alias duqueartes que hace una alusión visual y metafórica a los alimentos híbridos, y a la capacidad humana para modificar todo lo que nos rodea, hasta lo más simple. Crítica, juego visual o conversión surrealista de algo tan simple como un pedazo de pan y una pieza de fruta cortada.

He is an expert of his technique  using photographs, software, and UV cured inks he manages to blur the boundaries between the natural and surreal, creating pieces that are richly layered in both visual and conceptual terms. His collection features unique images that when printed on a variety of surfaces including some attractive yet unusual options like methacrilate or Forex. The more reflective materials, such as aluminum, take advantage of light and shadow to achieve a remarkable sense of depth. These pieces do not just ask politely for your attention,  they inspire conversation and demand contemplation.
