Fernando Cortés aka “outsider” has a Bacherlor in Fine Arts from Madrid’s Complutense University, specializing in restoration of old paintings and audiovisual media, although his resume reflects a multifaceted artistic profile and an extensive experience in many artistic terrains. nuzart.com  hosts an exhibition of seven galleries showing photographs that cover various subjects and styles of the artists.

Inmersos en una era en la que los teléfonos móviles y las nuevas tecnologías son capaces de invadir las intimidades ajenas y saciar la curiosidad de los más cotillas, se exhibe hasta el próximo 3 de octubre en la Tate Modern de Londres: “Expuestos: Voyeurismo, Vigilancia y la Cámara”. Un recorrido a través de 250 trabajos de fotógrafos afamados y aficionados, que exploran imágenes icónicas, cuestiones tabúes relacionadas con el sexo o la violencia y el culto modernos al famoseo.

Coincidiendo con esta muestra, hacemos referencia a la obra de uno de los fotógrafos de nuzart.com, Ignacio Adeva, cuya galería emana un cierto alo voyeurístico a través de imágenes de personajes anónimos extraídos de paisajes urbanos y situaciones cotidianas exentos de todo tipo de conocimiento del momento. Imágenes cuya la belleza radica precisamente, en su espontaneidad y naturalidad.

Living in an era in which new technologies and mobile phone cameras are able to satisfy and feed the curiosity of viewers, the Tate Modern in London exposes until October 3, “Exposed: Voyeurism, Surveillance and the Camera”.  A fascinating insight into photographic images made surreptitiously or without the explicit permission of those depicted. With photographs from the late nineteenth century to present day, the pictures present a shocking, illuminating and witty perspective on iconic and taboo subjects. The exhibition presents 250 works by celebrated artists and both amateur and press photographers.

Coinciding with this show, nuzart.com presents Ignacio Adeva a photographer whose series exudes a certain voyeuristic vocation, through images of anonymous people -unaware of the situation- drawn from urban sceneries, settings and everyday situations. Images whose beauty lies precisely in its spontaneity and ephemeral nature.

Shot at a theater festival in Baia Mare by ArdeleanDan, Romania Butoh is the collective name for a diverse range of activities, techniques and motivations for dance, performance, or movement inspired by the Ankoku-Butoh movement. It typically involves playful and grotesque imagery, taboo topics, extreme or absurd environments, and is traditionally “performed” in white-body makeup with slow hyper-controlled motion, with or without an audience. But there is no set style, and it may be purely conceptual with no movement at all. Its origins have been attributed to Japanese dance legends Tatsumi Hijikata and Kazuo Ohno.

Lower than human: 4 by  Tajana Šiždrak

Tajana Šiždrak was born in Zagreb in 1979. After graduating from the School of Applied Art and Design in 1997, Tajana enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (faculty of graphics). Following various prominent group exhibitions at Zagreb galleries, Tajana had her first independent exhibition at the “Vision” gallery in 2003 in Zagreb.
She has provided illustrations for Vesernji list, the Croatian travel guide “Hrvatski Hosteler” and illustrated books such “Pinokio” (Carlo Collodi) and “Branka” (August Šenoa). Her work has been exhibited in Johannesburg (South Africa), Belgrade, Zagreb, Berlin and Melville and she is currently spending much time designing and preparing exhibitions.
The artist has received noumerous acknowledgements and special honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb.

The series “Lower than Human” exhibited at nuzart.com, offers to the viewer forms and ideas placed right in the border between a real world and an abstract world, expressed through textures, shapes and graphic and photographic elements. Works that mix a recognizable reality, with other elements that belong to an abstraction which has been -intentionally- dyed in blue.

Tajana Šiždrak nació en Zagreb en 1979. Tras graduarse en la Escuela de Artes Aplicadas y Diseño en 1997, se matriculó en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Zagreb (Facultad de Diseño Gráfico) para completar su formación. Después de muchas exposiciones colectivas, expuso por primera vez en solitario en la “Galería Visión” de Zagreb en el 2003. Posee un curriculo admirable repleto de exposiciones colectivas, individuales y exibiciones en espacios públicos que la han hecho merecedora de numerosos reconicimientos y distinciones especiales otorgadas por la Academia de Bellas Artes de Zagreb. Entre los proyectos que ha llevado a cabo cabe además destacar las ilustraciones realizadas para libros y medios impresos como “Vesernji”,  The Croatian Travel Guide “Hrvatski Hosteler”, “Pinokio” (Carlo Collodi) y “Branka” (August Šenoa). Ha expuesto en ciudades de todo el mundo como Johanesburgo (Sudáfrica), Belgrado, Zagreb, Berlín o Melville. Actualmente, Tajana está inmersa en el desarrollo de nuevos proyectos y futuras exposiciones.

La serie “Lower than Human” expuesta en nuzart.com, ofrece al espectador una visión fronteriza entre un mundo real y un mundo abstracto a través de texturas, formas y elementos gráficos y fotográficos. Una muestra extremadamente interesante que mezcla una realidad reconocible a primera vista, con otros elementos que forman parte de una abstracción intencionadamente teñida de azul.

Bajo el marco de LADYFEST, se inaugura en la sala CONSENTIDO de Madrid la Exposición Colectiva de Fotografía Erótica de Anni Van Parys y Elena Ocho, una muestra que pretende romper con los estereotipos culturales y mostrar la mirada femenina de una manera aguda y singular, tomada desde el otro lado del objetivo.

Por una lado, Van Parys presenta la serie “La mirada cubista”, imágenes de gran impacto visual con un objetivo: intentar descomponer el cuerpo mezclando varios puntos vista en una sola imagen. En “Niña imantada”, Elena Ocho se centra en la expresión corporal lírica, para ofrecernos un ejemplo de cómo son atraídas nuestras miradas por los elementos que enmascaran los cuerpos tuneados.

Ambas series fotográficas podrán visitrase en la Sala CONSENTIDO (C/Barco, 32 - Madrid) hasta el próximo 9 de Marzo y en nuzart.com sin límite de fecha.
