No need to dive into the sea or travel to the Perito Moreno, to enjoy this season’s trendy and vibrant color.  Interior designers, architects and artists, dye their artworks and projects with this turquoise, ultramarine blue, or “Deep Ocean Blue” -as the majority prefers to define it-. Just to start, the name is appealing in itself, but if we stop and gaze at it for long enough, our senses will go far beyond our imagination. Just take a look and check out nuzart.com’s artworks tagged with blue, to discover the color which undoubtedly is the trendy color for the fall: the Deep Ocean Blue (and this is not the title of a song).

Emma Chesney is fond of the form, line, simplicity and hidden pleasure of the common object, with flowers being a passion. She takes them to the next level of art, through computer graphic manipulation.

Emma has a romantic spirit that is warmly reflected in her photos.  The ephimery of life is here represented by the beauty of flowers that bloom to be put on show and watch them as they grow. And time passes, but the beauty still remains frozen by her eye.

Put the color ON

La Radio de miriam

Black & White are the safe choices in photography and the design world. The color of luxury is elegant and subdued. Yet, at the same time, even top-tier photographers, designers, artists and luxury brands have always used bright colors as well. It is not about either or. It is not b&w or color. Just try telling those who love Andy Warhol’s art, Madrid’s Terminal 4 airport interiors, Veuve Clicquot’s packages, Paul Smith’s designs or Renzo Piano’s Central St. Giles façades in London, that the “designer look” is always predominantly black and white…

And although bright color is often associated with being a sort of primitive, wild, folk-art aesthetic, and therefore black and white would seem the serious and civilized alternative, color is not just wild, frivolous, and primitive. In fact, we are seeing a clear increase in the use of color in the broad design world. We see more color in commercial and residential architecture, interior design, art, installations, products, marketing, and communications.

And if you want to see more about color at nuzart.com, all you need to do is click through the various categories of colors on this site and you’ll get a sense of how color is gaining ground.

A retro telephone is a classic icon of design and engineering which gives a touch of sixties style, but also one of the best ways to symbolize a moment in time. It represents communication, humman relations and conversations kept in memory… It’s something to be shared and attractive to look at. Something to decorate, to talk and to capture.

Which material do you prefer? nuzart.com has at your disposal a large range of printing materials and finishes to achive a unique effect.

These are the main characteristics that will help you to define the result that you want:

Printing Materials

Cotton Canvas
Fine Art Glicée printing on UV resistant and waterproof cotton canvas, wich is stretched mounted over a 3.6cm deep wooden interior frame ready to hang on the wall without need of a frame. The image wraps around the sides of the box frame.

Forex
Forex is a plastic material (Expanded PVC) ideal for high-quality images, printed directly on to a 5mm deep panel, using a professional process that guarantees maximum quality and durability over time. Each work is delivered ready to hang on the wall using a “frameless” solution that separates the image 3 cm from the wall, creating an effect of weightlessness

Aluminium
Images are printed directly to a 2mm deep anodized aluminium panel, and then attached to another panel, forming a sandwich structure stuffed with black rubber. This structure of great strength and durability contrasts with the delicacy and elegance of the aluminum, creating a play between the images and its magical metallic glints. Each work is delivered ready to hang on the wall using a “frameless” solution that separates the image 3 cm from the wall, creating an effect of weightlessness.

Perspex
Images are printed on photographic quality paper and fixed onto a 5mm deep perspex. The high quality photographic printing , the translucent shine and the transparencey make a great combination that alights the colours, the brightness and the definition of your artworks, creating a magic light effect. The finished result is glamourous and unlike anything else.

Photo Gallery Frame
The PhotoGallery frame is the the revival of a timeless classic, for pictures that deserve to be the center of attention. Images are framed with a handcrafted 2.5 cm thick black lacquered wood frame, and a white mat of 6cm on each side. The digital images can be printed on metallized, glossy or matte Fuji paper. To protect the photo, the frame includes a non-glare glass. The result is elegant, sober, and if you combine several photos …you will be involved in a spectacular visual game.

Photographic Paper
Digital printing on glossy, matte (Fuji DP II Profesional) or metallized (Fuji Profesional) photographic paper. For sizes larger than 70*100 print is made on matte photographic quality paper. The artwork is delivered rolled inside a tube.

Photographic Paper mounted on black Forex
Digital printing on glossy, matte (Fuji DP II Profesional) or metallized (Fuji Profesional) photographic paper mounted on a 5 mm deep black Forex. The quality of the digitalprint in combination with the elegance of the black Forex, makes this material to be the most favorited and popular alternative among professional photographers. The artwork is delivered ready to hang on the wall using a “frameless” solution that separates the image 3 cm from the wall, creating a floating effect.

Ciudades de Autor: Why I love London

London Rojo by bel65

“You have such beautiful skies when they’re overcast…”

“You have such beautiful skies when they’re overcast…”

I remember an interview with Woody Allen in 2004 during the filming of Match Point in London. He was literally fascinated by the city, by its environment, by its people. But most of all he was especially fascinated by its leaden skies. Skies that allowed him to make the very best of every scene, every shot. Because the sun, though it might seem contradictory, has been the biggest detriment to Allen as a film director throughout his career …

London certainly has something special that compensates the density of the clouds. It’s an open and cosmopolitan city that lets you look across and enjoy the view. Woody Allen filmed his movie in Belgravia, Fulham Road, St. James Park and the Tate Modern … But he could equally as well have chosen any other locations for its scenes, like those captured by some of nuzart.com’s artists: the London Bridge, the British Museum or the Underground. Every street, every neighborhood, every place has something unique. No matter where you look or where you go. London does not need light to shine.

Posted in Artistas, Decoración, Monográficos, arte digital, creatividad, dibujo e ilustración, editorial on Enero 24th, 2010 by admin – Be the first to comment

We read, write and communicate through typographical symbols. Handwriting fonts and designs that so many times we relate to places, themes or certain periods. Different fonts that emerged at some point and which hide a full process, a history, and above all a creator.

The Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando (Madrid) pays tribute to the unknown history of typography in Spain through the exhibition “Imprenta Real. Fuentes de la Tipografía Española” (”Royal Printing. Sources from the Spanish Typography”), which revolves around the origin and evolution of typographic design in Spain making a special stop at the elegant Ibarra Real: a typographic font style that for over two hundred years has transcribed one of the most important editions of The Quixote, and now jumps into the fray with its inclusion in the catalog of Microsoft.

Coinciding with the closure of this unique show on January 24, we expose some of nuzart.com’s artists artwoks whose compositions show that Typography can be raised to the category of Art, not only for its communication skills, but also for its visual power.

The whim of the seasons often gives us unrepeatable pictures full of beauty. Winter landscapes that are the perfect complement for modern interiors that seek to enhance winter scenaries with the warmth that only an artist can provide.
