En esta sencilla fotografía que ilustra el post,  se consigue integrar la pintura de luz en la propia imagen. Aquí no sólo podemos maravillarnos del efecto de la pintura de luz, sino que las formas casi orgánicas pasan a formar parte de la imagen.

Aqui el fisiograma cuenta una historia, la escena noctura se vuelve misteriosa y llena de tensión. Los árboles nevados dan paso a un camino de nieve donde las luminosas figuras aguardan espectantes.

La técnica es muy similar a otros fisiogramas: Con el obturador de la cámara abierto por un largo periodo de tiempo (3 minutos en este caso) y dos personas trabajando juntas. Mientras una persona queda de pie frente a la cámara, el segundo delinea su figura con una lámpara de mano apuntando en dirección a la cámara. Se apaga la lámpara y pasan a la siguiente posición.

Más allá de la técnica, la composición y realización de la imagen es lo que la hacen interesante.

YOU CAN INTEGRATE LIGHT PAINTING IN YOUR OWN IMAGE

In this simple picture illustrating the post, you can integrate light painting in your own image. Here, we can marvel not only the effect of light painting, but almost organic forms become part of the image.

Here the fisiograma tells a story, the night scene becomes mysterious and full of tension. Snowy trees give way to a path of snow where the luminous figures expectant waiting.

The technique is very similar to other fisiogramas: With the camera shutter open for a long period of time (3 minutes in this case) and two people working together. While a person is standing in front of the camera, the second person draws a figure with a flashlight pointing at the camera. It turns off the lamp and they go to the next position.

Beyond the technique, composition and performance of the image is what makes it interesting.

La fotógrafa sueca Appura Pai, en sus viajes a Japón, decidió utilizar la nueva ruta del metro llamada Yurikamome, para capturar el viaje por medio de su cámara, el resultado es un fusión surrealista, entre el paisaje, las luces, la velocidad y los rieles, en un tiempo que comprende el día y la noche.

The Swedish photographer Appura Pai, in her travels to Japan, decided to use the new subway route called Yurikamome, to capture the trip through his camera, the result is a surreal fusion between the landscape, lights, speed and rails, in a time that includes the day and night.

“I´m a complete novice with photographic fx but have been inspired by “In search of styles” blog, I´ve always resisted this type of photography, because I guess I´ve been a bit of a purist, I still have a lot to learn!

Photography is an artform, as much as a visual record of events or capture of an image, I believe. I´m not about to spend big Bucks on fx software, simply because I have more pressing needs (i.e photographic hardware and equipment)! So I´m just going to have to make do with what photoshop has on offer.

I tried to de-noise wth Topaz Labs but it just would´nt have it, this was the way it was meant to be, I guess!

The original image was a macro shot of three buds of a dying Christmas tree, (sadly, the tree is no longer with us , and has moved on to the great Lapland in the sky, I have a sneaking suspicion the mediterranean climate may have something to do with it´s demise).”
